PRIVACY

Format Fighter doesn't collect any data about you. No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.

YOUR FILES

Every conversion happens on your Mac. Your files are never uploaded or sent anywhere. The app itself can't even connect to the internet: the macOS sandbox gives it no network access.

THE PURCHASE

The purchase of unlimited files is made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; Format Fighter only learns whether the Apple Account on this Mac owns the purchase. See Apple's privacy policy.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR Mac

• How many of the 10 free files you've used (in the macOS Keychain).
• Your settings, such as the sound and the window's position.
• Access to the folders you choose, so the app can save converted files next to the originals.

None of this leaves your Mac. A password you type for a ZIP file is kept only in memory while that file is on the screen, and is never saved.

LINKS

A few screens have a link (for example, to download a free font). It opens in your web browser, and only when you click it.
